Certification in Volunteer Administration:

The Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA) advances the profession and practice of volunteer resource management by certifying individuals who demonstrate knowledge and competence in the leadership of volunteers. Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) is an international credential awarded to practitioners with at least 3 years of experience who successfully complete an exam and written portfolio process.  This is a self-study program – no classes to attend, and very accessible no matter where you live or work.  Originally developed by the Association for Volunteer Administration (AVA) several decades ago, the credentialing program is now sponsored by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration.  Call 804-794-8689 for more information.

Invest in yourself!  Apply by December 31, 2008 to join CVA Study Group.  Volunteer Central of Greater Tulsa will host sessions beginning late January 2009 for the next exam. Call 918.447.1888 for details.
